Excellencehub presents the UN Youth for Biosecurity Fellowship. A fully sponsored, five-day youth forum in Geneva, Switzerland. Yes. The United Nations Youth for Biosecurity Fellowship 2024 applications are now open. The fellowship intends to bring together young biosecurity leaders from around the world to learn and enhance their knowledge of biosecurity, develop leadership skills, think and act, and then engage in a community. This three-month fellowship includes a five-day field excursion to Geneva, Switzerland from August 19-23, 2024.
Participants must hold an advanced degree in life sciences or a related field. Candidates with credentials in other subjects, such as social sciences, might apply by expressing an interest in biosecurity. The fellowship is provided by the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA). Switzerland resembles Heaven on Earth. Do not pass up this opportunity. UN Youth for Biosecurity Fellowship Duration and Activities
- The program is three months long.
- Fellows take part in an online Biosecurity Diplomacy Workshop (June 5th to July 5th, 2024), which includes weekly sessions.
- They also collaborate on a project, which will be presented at a summit in Geneva in August 2024.
- A five-day tour to Geneva from August 19-23.

Who can Apply?
- Be under the age of 35
- Be a citizen of an eligible country listed here
- possess an advanced degree from an accredited university or other institution in the life sciences or a similar field.
- Candidates having credentials in social sciences or other subjects may be given special consideration.
- Undergraduate students who have demonstrated experience and interest in fields related to the Fellowship are also eligible to apply.
- Applications from female applicants are highly welcomed.
