The 2024 World Forum for Democracy seeks to understand how democracies can function effectively despite the presence of people from diverse backgrounds. They are concerned in discovering solutions to resolve conflicts and develop bridges between people in a democracy.

- Unravelling the Web of Disinformation
- Citizen participation for democracy regeneration
The forum’s main focus will be on political discussions and successful projects or activities implemented in various countries.
Financial Benefits
- Travel and Visa: Airfares The Council of Europe will cover travel and visa charges.
- Accommodation: The Council of Europe will arrange and pay for board and accommodation during the activity dates.
Eligibility Criteria
Profile of a Youth:
- Be between the ages of 18 and 30 (exceptions may be allowed in certain instances).
- Open to all nationals.
- Be able to communicate and work in English.
- Be ready to fully participate in the World Forum for Democracy and the preparation process.
- Can be from any country, with any academic background.
- Share your experiences with democracy and diversity.
Result Outcome
Candidates will be informed around mid-September 2024 if their application has been accepted or rejected, and if they have been put on the waiting list.
