Abertay University offers master’s and PhD scholarships to international students for the academic year 2025-2026. This scholarship offers the student a £3,000 grant. The reward is awarded in two equal installments: January and April.

Abertay University Scholarships Deadlines
- Applications for February admission must be submitted by 15 December. If a Tier 4 visa is required, the deadline is November 30.
- Applications for June entrance must be submitted by April 30 (if a Tier 4 visa is required, the deadline is March 31).
- Applications for October entrance must be received by August 31 (for Tier 4 visas, the deadline is July 31).

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must fulfil the following criteria for Abertay University Scholarships for International Students:
- Required Language: English. Applicants who do not speak English as their first language are normally required to demonstrate English proficiency at the University’s higher level.
- Eligible countries include all world countries.
- You’ve enrolled at Abertay University as a full-time student for your first postgraduate degree. Applicants who already have a UK postgraduate degree are ineligible.
- Abertay University designated them as having international (overseas) fee status.
- Have met all of the academic requirements for your offer of admission as a full-time student in September 2024 or January 2025.
- Have earned the equivalent of a 2:1 UK Bachelor’s degree or above.
This award is not open to already enrolled postgraduate students or Abertay alumni.

- Apply to the selected programme by (Signing up to create your new account, selecting new user, Fill in the required information and upload the required documents, Submit the application.
- If you complete all of the eligibility requirements and are awarded an Abertay International Scholarship, we will notify you via email after your offer of study by July 1. If you apply after this deadline, you will be evaluated for the second round of scholarship awards on August 24.
