Overview

The Sparbanksstiftelsen Kronan scholarship award structure emphasizes the importance of qualified works that demonstrate innovation, innovative technological application, practical and technical relevance, business potential, entrepreneurship, or contributions to welfare, healthcare, and public sectors.

• Prominent theses may win either 50,000 SEK or 25,000 SEK in acknowledgment.
• Eligible works must show high levels of creativity, use new technology, have practical and technical relevance, display business potential, entrepreneurship, or highlight benefits in the welfare, healthcare, and public sectors.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Sparbanksstiftelsen Kronan scholarship:

• Degree theses can be either basic/undergraduate or advanced/master’s level, with a minimum credit requirement of 15 hours.
• Theses must be graded during the fall term of 2023 or the spring term of 2024.

Application Process

To apply, complete the online form and attach your thesis along with certificates from collaborators. Certificates should assess the work.

• Applicants must complete the application form available through the linked link.
• The application asks that the thesis or dissertation be attached, as well as any credentials from collaboration partners and supervisors at Linnaeus University.
• Certificates should preferably include an evaluation of the job and its process.
• Every attachment must be in PDF format.
• The deadline for application submissions is August 11.
