MEDIT/ACI PhD Scholarships in Turkey at Ibn Haldun University will cover the majority of the costs of studying in Turkey for free. The following information is provided in detail:
- $16,000 USD is the tuition price for a full-time student enrolled in the four-year PhD programme in civilisation studies for the academic year.
- Every student is accepted, and they have numerous options for paying their tuition.
- Successful applicants will be offered roles as Teaching Assistants or Research Assistants, as well as tuition waivers.
- PhD scholarships cover both the four-year doctoral program and the preparation phase (up to one academic year) in Arabic and Turkish.
- Scholarships are available for nine months each year. Summer isn’t one of them.
- Married students and/or PhD candidates who have completed their comprehensive exams are eligible for the Summer Scholarship. They will earn a 12-month stipend each year.
- Scholarships and assistant scholarships can both be renewed annually.

Eligibility Criteria

- Students can apply to Ibn Haldun University’s PhD degree in civilisation studies.
Exceptions:
- Applicants who are natural English speakers or have achieved a bachelor’s degree (minimum three years) from an authorised postsecondary educational institution in an English-speaking country (the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand) are not required to take an English proficiency exam.
- Successful applicants who are unable to take an approved English proficiency exam owing to national constraints must submit their findings prior to officially enrolling in the fall semester. If you don’t, your admissions offer will be withdrawn.

- Two letters of recommendation (you will request that letters of recommendation be uploaded to the recommenders you add to the application system).
