This is a fully paid Dutch university grant for international students. The University of Groningen gives annual scholarships to welcome newcomers to campus.

The Eric Bleumink Fund at the University of Groningen is now open to students who earned provisional or unconditional admission to a master’s degree before February. Only then can applicants be evaluated for grants from the Eric Bleumink Fund.

The institution of Groningen is a public research institution with about 30,000 students in Groningen, the Netherlands. The institution was founded in 1614 and is the country’s second oldest, as well as one of the most traditional and prestigious in the Netherlands. Scholarship Benefits:

The stipend covers tuition, international travel expenses, sustenance, books, and health insurance. Please keep in mind that a large number of students apply for this scholarship each year, and the University can only give out a limited amount of grants.

Eligibility Criteria for University of  Groningen scholarships for international students:

Candidates for the Eric Bleumink Fund should:

Have received provisional or unconditional admission for a master’s program before February. Only then will applicants be considered for a grant from the Eric Bleumink Fund (see: Master’s degree program )

Obtain an excellent academic record, preferably supported by letters of recommendation. Have good grades during their bachelor’s or undergraduate education;

Have outstanding English language skills that meet the admission standards of the program of choice. Be available for the duration of the program and able to participate in the entire program.

Hold the nationality of a country listed in Appendix 1 and be in good health to qualify for health insurance. Have no alternative way of funding the study in question.

How To Apply the University of Groningen scholarships for international students?

The University of Groningen Admission Office, in cooperation with the Admission Boards of its faculties, will select which applicants will be considered for an Eric Bleumink Fund scholarship.
