The Pershing Square Foundation offers up to six fully funded Oxford Pershing Square Graduate Scholarships to international students in 2025. Selected applicants can get a master’s degree and an MBA from Oxford University. These scholarships apply to both the master’s degree and the MBA year. Students can enroll in any of the 1+1 MBA partnering programmes and combine them with our MBA.

Oxford Pershing Square Graduate Scholarship will cover the following costs:

Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship organizers will consider the candidates in order of priority for the scholarship based on the following criteria:

- If they are new applicants to the Oxford 1+1 MBA program, they should be admitted to a 1+1 MBA partnering program and the MBA before beginning the selection process.
- If the applicant applies to any full-time one-year Master’s course that is not currently on the official list of 1+1 MBA partnering programs, as well as the MBA (as a separate application),
- If they are:

- Moving into their MBA year and were not accepted for the scholarship previous year (e.g. waitlisted/re-evaluated applicants).
- Accepted to the MBA while studying in one of the 1+1 MBA partnership programs.

Selection Criteria
The selection committee will consider the following requirements for the students:

- Academic success of the applicants as demonstrated by degree outcomes, GMAT or GRE scores, past university honours and awards, and other academic successes.
- Leadership potential is demonstrated via drive and experience.
- Strong moral character, dedication, and integrity.
- In your profession, focus on addressing global societal concerns, whether by starting a new company or working with an existing one.
- The ability to envision scalable and long-term solutions to these issues.
- Clear vision on how the Oxford 1+1 MBA will help you achieve your goals.
Candidates should emphasize these qualities in their 1+1 MBA applications, scholarship essays, and interview responses.

- Upload the scholarship essay to the 1+1 MBA program application’s Funding section. (Maximum of 500 words) “How do you intend to change the world and what does this tell us about you as a person?”

Candidates must complete an application for both courses and attach the scholarship essay to the ‘Funding’ part of the 1+1 MBA program application.
