Qualifications for Eligibility
In order to qualify for the KTH Joint Program Scholarship, candidates need to:
- Adhere to the Swedish national application system’s definition of a fee-paying student (University Admissions Sweden).
- Participate in one or two semesters at KTH in the fall of 2025 as a member of one of the joint programs listed below:
- Science and Engineering Computer Simulations (COSSE)
- Sustainable Energy Engineering Innovation (Nordic Five Tech)
- Nordic Five Technology’s polymer technology
- EIT Digital’s ICT Innovation (under certain restrictions)
- Systems for Decentralized Smart Energy (DENSYS) (under certain conditions)
Note: Students should apply for other scholarships if they are interested in studying mathematics, biostatistics and data science, molecular techniques in life science, or EIT health programs.

Application Guidelines for the Joint Program Scholarship
- Application period: April 1–April 15, 2025.
- During the application period, email scanned copies of your transcripts and bachelor’s degree to info@kth.se, along with any necessary English translations.
- Send in your bachelor’s degree if you are starting your first year at KTH.
- Send in your first-year transcripts from your joint program if you are starting your second year.
Selection Standards
Scholarships are given out according to academic achievement and include:
- Grades (equivalent to GPA)
- The university that awarded your bachelor’s degree and its ranking
- Results from prior coursework in the joint program (if applicable)
