The Swedish Institute (SI) Scholarship Pioneering Women in STEM is a fully financed scholarship in Sweden that combines high-quality education, new technologies, and a focus on sustainability. The Swedish Institute invites women from eleven Asian and African countries to apply for fully funded international scholarships in Europe. These scholarships are meant for women who are willing to take the initiative, confront global concerns, and provide long-term solutions. This master’s grant provides students with a unique chance for professional development and networking.

Benefits of Swedish Institute Scholarships
- SI will pay the full tuition fee to the student’s Swedish university for each semester.
- Students will be paid a monthly stipend of SEK 12,000 to cover their living expenses during the study time.
- International students will get a travel allowance of SEK 15,000.
- Participants will be granted membership in the SI Network for Future Global Professionals (NFGP).
- Students who complete the scholarship period will become members of the SI Alumni Network.

Eligibility Criteria for Swedish Institute Scholarship
- Women candidates should be citizens of Bangladesh, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, the Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Thailand, and Vietnam.
- If you have dual citizenship and both countries are eligible, select only one citizenship and submit only only one application.
- Candidates for the master’s program should pay their application fees on time. The payment should be made to University Admissions.
- Entrants should be conditionally admitted to any qualified master’s program in March 2025, on the day admissions are announced.
- Late admissions will not be considered for scholarships.
- Candidates must not be currently enrolled in a master’s program at any Swedish university.
- Applicants who have not previously won a SI scholarship or graduated from a Swedish university are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must not have lived in Sweden for more than two years before to applying for this award.

- Apply for master’s program through university admissions so that you are considered for the scholarship.
- Log into the university admissions portal.
- Search for courses or programs.
- Rank your selected programs.
- Provide all application paperwork.
- Pay the application cost.
- Register for citizenship.
- Submit the electronic application form.
- Applicants will be admitted to various Swedish universities after meeting their admissions criteria.
- Fill out and submit the form provided on the official website.
- Candidates will get an email from university admissions regarding their master’s program choices by March 27th, 25.
- Candidates will get an email from the Swedish Institute informing them of their scholarship selection by April 24th, 25th.
