Erasmus Mundus EMMIR Scholarship in Europe is a program that promotes cooperation and mobility within higher education. This fully financed international scholarship program takes an intercultural approach to studying migration. It allows students to conduct fieldwork primarily in African, Asian, and European contexts while providing a solid theoretical and methodological foundation in migration studies. During their Erasmus+ scholarship, participants will attend a variety of seminars, lectures, workshops, study tours, tutorials, and other forms of instruction.

EMMIR is offering a two-year funding program for master’s students pursuing migration studies. It is a multidisciplinary curriculum that addresses important current issues. Student mobility is one of the program’s key aspects, and it includes both group and individual mobility. Students will spend the first semester in Oldenburg, Germany (UOL), and the second semester in Stavanger, Norway (UIS), alongside their entire cohort. The third semester will include a project-based internship and one module given by EMMIR partner universities. The fourth semester will be spent in Germany, where students will have the freedom to build their own mobility based on their master’s thesis topic.

The Erasmus Scholarship in Europe offers internship opportunities as part of the degree program. They will learn about migration challenges while also becoming acquainted with diverse cultures and academic traditions. They will concentrate in one of the program’s areas and gain extensive skills, giving them numerous work prospects. EMMIR graduates find work in academia, research, the private sector, and national and international government entities. Apply today for migration studies scholarships in Germany and Norway.
