Are you trying to find a master’s program in Europe that offers full funding? Students from developing nations are encouraged to pursue second-cycle (master’s) studies in Poland through the Banach NAWA Scholarship 2025, which is provided by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) in collaboration with Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In October 2025, applications will be accepted for the 2025–2026 school year.

The Banach NAWA Program 2025 offers scholarships for full-time second-cycle studies in Polish or English at public and private universities in Poland with the goal of promoting the socioeconomic development of partner nations.

Level of Degree

The fully funded Banach NAWA Poland Scholarship 2025 is available for students enrolled in master’s degree programs at Polish universities.

There are numerous second-cycle (master’s) program options available to applicants in the following fields:

  • Technology and Engineering
  • Life Sciences & Agriculture
  • Social Science
  • Nature-Based Sciences
  • Business and Economics
  • Computer Science and IT

Opportunities

The following advantages will be granted to chosen candidates:

  • A stipend of PLN 2,500 per month
  • Free tuition at public universities
  • Travel grant for one time (lump sum included in first payment)
  • For students studying Polish, a one-year preparatory course in the language is optional.
  • A course on Polish language and culture for English language learners

Eligible Nationalities

Citizens of the following countries can apply for this scholarship:

Papua New Guinea, Peru, Rwanda, Senegal, Serbia, Tanzania, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Albania, Angola, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Brazil, Montenegro, Philippines, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kosovo, Lebanon, North Macedonia, Mexico, Moldova, Mongolia, Nigeria, Palestine, Papua New Guinea, and Argentina

Qualifications for Eligibility

Candidates need to:

  • Be a national of one of the aforementioned qualifying nations.
  • Have not obtained Polish citizenship or applied for it
  • possess a bachelor’s degree from the first cycle that was earned in or after 2023.
  • Not having earned a master’s degree yet
  • Show that you are proficient in the language:
  • B2 English (for courses taught in English)
  • B2 or A2 Polish (based on direct admission or a preparatory course)

Deadline for Applications

  1. Deadline: 3:00 PM Warsaw time on June 27, 2025
  2. Note: There is a 300 application cap per region, and once that cap is reached, the call may end early.

Documents Required

  • Scan of a passport
  • First-cycle diploma or graded transcript
  • Evidence of enrollment or application to a Polish university
  • A certificate of proficiency in either Polish or English
  • A one to three minute self-presentation video that explains motivation

  4. Applications can be in English or Polish

Procedure for Selection

Applications are assessed based on:

  • merit in the classroom (up to 70 points)
  • Video for motivation (up to 30 points)

To qualify, a score of at least 70 points is required.

Crucial Dates

  • Opening Date of Call: June 6, 2025
  • Call ends on June 27, 2025, or before then if the quota is filled.
  • Announcement of Results: By September 30, 2025
  • Classes start in October 2025 for the winter semester 2025–2026.
