Artists and groups of artists from all over the world are invited to apply for a fully funded 2025 Residency Program in Switzerland and Denmark. Collide is an annual residency program for artists who are eager to collaborate with scientists and engineers who have a great interest in science and technology. CERN aspires to enhance and contribute to a bigger international network that combines science and art.

During this international residence prize, the chosen artist or collective will spend the first month at CERN in Geneva and the second at Copenhagen Contemporary in Copenhagen. Throughout the residency, the artists will collaborate with scientists, engineers, and staff from both locations to undertake research for their proposal. Following the residencies, a remote phase will be carried out with the help of curator teams in Geneva and Copenhagen to define and develop a new work of art.
