• Additionally, pupils will get the following monthly allowance:
  • The monthly cost of a master’s degree is 3,000 CNY.
  • Monthly cost of the PhD degree is 3,500 CNY.
• Furthermore, international students will also get comprehensive medical insurance as part of the East China University CSC Scholarships 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be non-Chinese citizens, have a valid degree (a bachelor’s degree for master’s candidates, a master’s degree for doctorate applicants), and be in good health.
  Applicants need to meet the language requirements.
• For the Chinese-taught program, the minimum requirements are HSK 5 for 210 or HSK 6 for 180. A bachelor’s or master’s degree from a Chinese-taught program at a Chinese university is required of applicants seeking exemption from HSK requirements.
• Programs taught in English must either demonstrate proof of English-taught coursework from a previous degree or achieve the minimal TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6.0 requirements. Native English speakers are not required to submit the English Proficiency Certificate.

Selection Criteria | China Scholarships |

• • When selecting international graduates, ECUST adheres to the principles of impartiality, fairness, and transparency by using the “application-evaluation” method.
  • Outstanding applications will be selected and forwarded to the school for a professional academic review once the College of International Education has examined the materials and set up an interview.
  • The ECUST online application system allows applicants to track the progress of their applications. Those who are accepted will receive acceptance letters and application forms for visas from ECUST.
  • Candidates must attest to the accuracy and veracity of the information they have provided on their applications and the supporting materials. If the Certification Department or the Admission Office determines that any of the documents are fraudulent, the student will either not be admitted or have their study permit revoked.

Documents Requirements

• • Duplicate of the photo page of the passport.
  • A copy of the degree certificate and diploma from the highest level of education.  Legitimate document from their current educational institution must be shown by potential diploma holders in order to confirm their current enrollment status and expected graduation date.
  • If the candidate is accepted, a scanned copy of the degree and graduation certificate will be sent before registration.
  • Records of each undergraduate course completed.
  • HSK scores obtained on or after September 1, 2023, are valid for verification of language proficiency in either Chinese or English.
  • Acceptance Letter: Please ensure that you upload in the format specified by the appropriate schools.
  • Two letters of recommendation, in either Chinese or English, from a professor or associate professor. The referee’s signature, title, institute, email address, and contact information must all be included in recommendation letters, which must be delivered after September 1, 2023.
  • A comprehensive research proposal and, if one has been prepared, a study plan of at least 800 words.
  • Further supporting documentation. For instance, awards, certifications, and published articles.
  • The No Criminal Record Certificate. If the candidate cannot obtain a Non-criminal Record Affirmation in their own country, kindly sign the document. Foreign students studying in China can submit a certificate from the university attesting to their good performance.
  • Statement of Financial Support.
  • The copy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. The original form should be kept by the applicants. The physical examination must cover every item on the form. Incomplete forms or those lacking a sealed photo of the applicant, the official hospital stamp, or the signature of the attending physician are considered void.
  • Please carefully consider when to schedule your physical examination, as the results are only good for six months.

Notes:

1. Click “Download-Application” to get the 9/10/11 form download.
2. A notarized copy of the translation in either Chinese or English must be submitted if the original document is not in either language.
3. The application documents mentioned above must be supplied with any supplementary paperwork that may be needed. The application materials will not be returned, regardless of the application’s acceptance or rejection.

How to Apply for these China Scholarships?

1. Click the Apply Now button below to start the East China University CSC Scholarship in China 2025 application process.
2. Applicants must create an account on the CSC Online Application System.
3. Once you have logged into the CSC portal, select the Category B system and East China University’s Agency Code, 10251.  Go ahead and sign the application, upload all necessary files, submit it, and print it. Along with the East China University application form, this one is required.
4. After that, applicants must also submit their university applications through the ECUST online portal for international students.
5. Fill out the form with accurate and relevant information.
6. The ECUST CSC scholarship deadline is when the application fee and other required materials must be sent in.
