Vienna Biocenter Summer School 2025 is a research-focused, fully-funded summer school in Austria. The 9-week summer research program offers exceptional students the opportunity to investigate life sciences with world-class mentors at one of Europe’s top research centres. The program offers a dynamic and lively scientific environment to outstanding students who are interested in research and development-based scientific advances.

The Vienna Biocenter has a varied range of research programs. The summer student program pairs each fellow with a faculty member to work closely and independently.
The Vienna Biocenter combines Europe’s five leading research centres. This program enables exceptional undergraduate students to begin their practical training at these premier research universities. All of the Biocenter’s ongoing research initiatives are concerned with cutting-edge topics in molecular biology, neuroscience, immunology, bioinformatics, RNA, stem cells, biochemistry, and other areas. Participants in this fully sponsored summer school participate in all practical lab work, lab meetings, and journal clubs.
