The Erasmus Mundus QUARMEN Scholarship 2025-27 is a fully financed scholarship program for international students. QUARMEN is a two-year physics curriculum that specializes in quantum science and technology. The goal of the Quantum Research Master Education Network is to prepare specialists for the quantum revolution by providing training in critical areas and technologies for quantum devices and information. The Erasmus Scholarship program is offered by four universities in Italy, France, Canada, and Portugal.
Completing this international fellowship program allows students to generate new ideas and participate in both academic and industrial laboratories. This fully funded European program will increase the level of competence, teaching staff, and access to a variety of technological platforms. This curriculum will offer students both entrepreneurial and project management abilities.

- The scholarship will cover travel and visa expenses.

Eligibility Criteria for Erasmus Mundus QUARMEN Scholarship.
- Aspirants cannot apply for another scholarship program if they have already received funding from an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM).
- It is mandatory for students to study abroad a minimum of two nations that are distinct from their own country.
- Candidates must be enrolled in or have already finished their bachelor’s degree in physics or a related discipline, such as physics engineering, computer science and physics double degrees, or mathematics and physics.
- Substantial number of credits in core physics courses, such as experimental physics, theoretical physics, mathematical physics, condensed matter, and quantum mechanics,
- Must be earned by applicants with suitable degrees in related fields.
- Candidates who have not finished foundational physics courses will not be able to apply.
- Admission to the University of Toronto will be determined on the applicants’ career goals and the results of their first semester.
- Nominees must attend Sapienza University for the first semester of classes.
- Candidates must submit evidence of their proficiency in English, such as TOEFL, IELTS, or other test results.
