CEU Masters Scholarship:

The CEU Master’s Scholarships by Academic Merit:

The CEU Doctoral Scholarships:

Required Documents

Below is the list of the documents you need to prepare for applying to CEU’s master’s and doctoral programs.

1. Academic writing submissions, including letters of recommendation.
2. Academic Records
3. Required documents include a curriculum vitae or resume, proof of English proficiency, and standard test scores (e.g., GRE, GMAT). (Only for the Department of Economics and Business).
4. Completed the CEU Application Form.

You may request an exemption if:

1. Your first language is English.
2. You are a current or past CEU student applying for a CEU PhD program.
3. You have a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree that was only taught in English.

The British Council has also launched a new scheme called British Council IELTS One Skill Retake in which you can appear in one module to improve your score without re-taking the full test.

CEU University Application Deadline

• For PhD Programs: February 4, 2025: Application deadline for doctoral programs for applicants from all countries.
• For Master Programs seeking Financial Aid: October 14, 2024: Application deadline for applicants to master’s programs from visa-sensitive countries (i.e. countries where it may take 9 to 12 months to obtain a study residence permit and visa).
• February 4, 2024: Application deadline for applicants for master’s programs from all other countries than those listed above.
• Results: Applicants will receive a response in December 2023.

How to Apply for the  CEU University Hungary Scholarships 2025?

1. All applications must be filed online. You may apply to as many as five programs.
2. CEU requires an application fee of EUR 30. Please submit your application only when it is entirely finished and complete. The application is not admissible unless it includes a fee.
3. CEU does not return application paperwork or give copies.
