Mr. van Effen, a TU Delft alumnus from the 1940s, was profoundly committed to education and creativity. The Justus & Louise van Effen Foundation was founded to honour his legacy by offering financial help to outstanding overseas students pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) at TU Delft.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Be an outstanding international applicant who has been admitted (conditionally) to one of the two-year regular TU Delft MSc programmes (not a Joint Education Programme).
• Achieve a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 80% or above on a scale of 100.
• Have a bachelor’s degree from a university that is internationally recognized outside of the Netherlands.
• Complete your MSc application by the scholarship deadline.

   3. Two Reference Letters
      • • Can be uploaded as a single PDF document throughout the MSc application process.
        • Alternatively, you can ask references to submit their letters by selecting the’send invitation’ button in the application page.
        • Both strategies can be combined if necessary.
        • Reference letters must be submitted by the scholarship deadline; late entries are not allowed.

      • Required for non-EU/EFTA students.
      • Must be included with the MSc application if applicable.
