International students at all degree levels are eligible to apply for the EDiSU Pavia Scholarships, which are awarded in accordance with regional and legislative decrees and regulations aimed at improving access to education and recognizing academic performance.
The scholarship announcement attempts to find qualified University of Pavia students to receive scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year. Students who meet the following conditions for the first time in their pursuit of higher education will be eligible for the award:
- Bachelor’s degree students can complete seven semesters starting from their first year of registration.
- Single-cycle Master’s degree candidates: Duration of the program plus one semester from the first year of registration.
- Master’s degree students have five semesters starting from their first year of registration.
- PhD Students: The program’s duration is set by didactic requirements and begins with the first year of registration.
- Specialization students (non-medical): According to didactic standards, the course duration begins with the first year of registration.

Eligibility Criteria
You must meet the following requirements:
- Applicants can be Italian, EU, or international students
- Students must have applied or stated their intention to apply to the University of Pavia for the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Program enrollment is necessary, and all applicants must have:
- First-year enrollment in a bachelor’s, master’s, or single-cycle master’s degree program.
- Enrolling in an additional year (one year over the allowed length) of a bachelor’s, master’s, or single-cycle master’s degree program
- Enroll in a specialized course (excluding medical areas).
- Enrollment in a PhD program (if you haven’t already received a scholarship or research funding)
- Students with disabilities who have a disability level of 66% or more and are enrolled in the second or subsequent year after the usual course duration are also eligible to apply for this Scholarship.
- Female students, particularly those interested in STEM professions, are encouraged to apply.
Restrictions:
- Applicants must not hold a degree at the same or higher level as the Scholarship requested.
- In the same academic year, no other scholarships from public or private bodies may be received.

Required Documents

How to Apply EDiSU Pavia Scholarship
- To submit your application, visit the EDiSU Pavia website and select “Online Student Services.”
- Confirm the online application submission by noon on Monday, September 16th, 2024.
- Enrollment in the University of Pavia for the 2024-2025 academic year is not essential for application but must be completed.
- Foreign Students and Italians abroad must:
- In the “Upload documents” section, attach PDF copies of the needed documents (family composition, gross income received abroad in 2023, number of buildings
- owned abroad by each adult member of the family unit, and amount of movable assets (bank balance, shares, bonds, and so on).
- Send original hard copies of documents to EDiSU by noon on September 16th, 2024.
- Send to EDiSU Pavia at Sant’Ennodio 26, 27100 Pavia, Italy.
- To submit documents, make an appointment at an EDiSU counter.
- Notify EDiSU in writing of any changes (for example, university transfer, new employment, or change in economic situation).
- Failure to submit needed materials by the deadline or the submission of incorrect documents will result in exclusion from the competition.
