Dear Applicants and Changemakers. Applications are open for the 2024 IUCN Leaders Forum in Geneva, Switzerland. This is the third iteration of the IUCN Leaders Forum. The first event was place in South Korea, while the second and third were held in Switzerland. The IUCN Leaders forum brings together youth, leaders, and changemakers from around the world to discuss and identify innovative solutions for environmental concerns and achieving global climate targets. Participants will attend the Forum in Geneva from October 7th to 11th, 2024.
More than 500 individuals from more than 70 countries have attended the forum thus far. IELTS isn’t required. Furthermore, there are no application fees. The IUCN will cover all of the expenditures, including travel tickets. The forum provides a platform for youth, changemakers, and innovators to plan and implement innovative environmental conservation or biodiversity action projects in local communities. Participants will present and pitch their projects to speakers, innovators, and world leaders. More details are provided below.

Requirements to Apply
- Open to applicants of all nationalities.
- Young applicants from all around the world are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants age should be between 18 and 35 years old.
- The IUCN Leaders Forum seeks a diverse group of global changemakers.
- Applicants should have demonstrated leadership and innovation in environmental protection, biodiversity, climate change, and/or sustainable development.
- Are currently developing an innovative solution that addresses the nature, climate, and biodiversity crises and places nature at the centre of one or more societal challenges.
