Call for Awaji Youth Federation Fellowship 2024. Fully funded free tour to Japan. The Awaji Youth Fellowship is a 9-month live-in employment and training program on Awaji Island. This is a popular Exchange Program in Japan, where participants from many nations join together to meet the needs of the Japanese workplace. It appeals to both male and female participants. The Pasona Group funds the Fellowship.

AYF fellowships are open to young applicants aged 24-35 with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. The AYF consists of three programs: Lectures, Challenges, and Projects. One target, one goal: to attract participants from all over the world to challenge themselves and refine their talents in a multicultural atmosphere that meets the needs of the Japanese workplace. Financial Coverage

The AYF Fellowship consists of 3 components that link to and support one another, namely:

  1. Self Development and Mentoring
  2. Project Ideation and Project Work
  3. Event Creation

The AYF Fellowship offers participants a one-of-a-kind opportunity to put their abilities and interests to the test while also pushing them outside of their comfort zone. Fellows can rediscover themselves in a new nation and culture, surrounded by other AYF Fellows from around the world.

Working Hours


  1. 5 days a week of working & learning
  2. 10 days of paid leave available six months into the Fellowship

Eligibility Criteria


  • Applicants can come from any country.
  • You have 2–3 years of experience in one of our Fellowship concentration areas.
  • Age between 24 and 30 is desirable.
  • Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
  • Commitment to addressing societal issues and contributing to our efforts.
  • Core principles include hard effort, discipline, and concern for others
  • Proof of IELTS or equivalent language tests is not required.

Timeline


  1. June – July: Interviews
  2. July – August: COE & Visa
  3. October: Fellowship Begins
