1) Job seeker (Academic)

With a Job Seeker Visa (Academic), you can stay in Germany for up to six months to find a job that matches your academic qualifications. You must have a validated university degree.

Once you have found a suitable job, you will be issued a residence permit. To enter Germany, you need a visa. You do not need a residency permit to look for work for up to six months.

2) Job seeker (Non-Academic)

The Job Seeker Visa is for non-academic applicants. This also allows you to stay for six months to look for a job that matches your occupational qualifications.
